What are Anti-radiation Glasses?
Glasses that have function of preventing eyes from radiation harm are generally called anti-radiation glasses. This special function comes from its lens.
1. What are anti-radiation lenses?
Anti-radiation lens have metallic compounds coating that can be resistant to radiation on both sides. The coating is a layer for 100% protecting the lens from the electromagnetic. The other nine layers including non-reflected multi-coating, hard coating and waterproof coating etc. can help preventing the static electricity and be waterproof and antifouling at the same time. This type of lens can remain clean for a long time and are not easy to get dirty.
2. How can anti-radiation lenses protect your eyes?
We watch television, or use computers and many other kinds of electrical products every day. A lot of electromagnetic is created out of them and can harm the human body at a certain extent, especially eyes. Electromagnetic not only can harm the eyes directly, but also may cause eyestrain and easily lead to vision loss. The anti-radiation lenses act as an extra layer, which prevents any harm that electromagnetic can do to the eyes.
3. What do anti-radiation lenses look like?
The modern anti-radiation lens can be blue, green, yellow, purple etc. There are many choices of color.
4. How to distinguish between the anti-radiation lens and the normal ones?
You can go to any authorised opticians to identify whether your glasses have anti-radiation lens or not. The reason why the lens can prevent the radiation is that the coating has electric metallic compounds, which enables the lens to be anti-radiation.
